School of Perspectives: Summer Immersion
Our 6-week Summer Immersion provides youth ages 13-17 the freedom to determine and define their own direction.
As the official program, TRIBE begin their literacy and professional development journey with our Embody tier by Establishing Intention. Once embodied, students carry the energy and intention of their initial writings into Villagehood. TRIBE intentionally develops a firm base built on literacy skills while navigating, establishing, and extending their journey to self-sustainability. Artistic paths include creative writing, visual and multimedia arts, film production, audio production, broadcasting and entrepreneurship.
TRIBE will engage in activities, discussions, workshops, and business tours to harness strong reading and writing skills that will strengthen their ability to negotiate, critically-think, communicate ideas, and formulate concepts.
TRIBEverse partners with businesses, organizations, holistic practitioners, and community members to build a Village where students use their developed talents and crafts to support and grow the village. Via business partnerships, collaboration, internships, employment, and entrepreneurial endeavors, TRIBE is immersed in their passion.

"Beyond School Walls"
Youth After School Program
Continuing through the TRIBEverse Tiers of Engagement — Engrave and Enact — TRIBE (ages 13-17) meets virtually several times a week after school throughout the academic school year. TRIBE participates in focused workshops to further their academic, professional, and personal development skills. Community engagement and restoration are integral components of our after-school program.
As TRIBE progresses to our Engrave tier, they will focus on engraving the guiding principles, mindsets, and actions in harmony with their chosen pathway. Students will think, behave, research, and engage with their pathway as they polish professional skills. TRIBE will work with industry professionals and community stakeholders to prepare their brand or pathway for the market, and establish organizational structure for their chosen pathway.
Once TRIBE emerges to our Enact tier, they are now sharing their acquired skills and creative innovations with their communities — and world. TRIBE spreads their expertise and progressive ideas in various forms: art galleries, forums, film festivals, live performances, etc. TRIBE will incite action and support from their shared communities. We are indeed building a Village. Tribe will continue our cycle of Give and Receive by existing on their chosen pathway while supporting the Village with their skills and creations.

Young Adult Program
GED Classes Coming Soon!
Our Young Adult program (ages 19-24) is specially designed for young adults seeking additional support discovering and identifying (or building upon) their chosen pathways. We equip young adults with the targeted skills and tools needed to build a successful, self-sustaining foundation.
We provide workshops and tailored courses to adult TRIBE as they embody skills designed to strengthen professional development for the real-world: Trade skills, communication, resume writing, computer literacy, brand development, mentorships, internships, and job shadowing.
Participants are partnered with professionals and artists in their vocation to enact long-term plans streamlined to intention and interest. Our support comes with no judgment.
As you transition to a new direction or path, we welcome the opportunity to join you on that journey.

Student Academic Services
TRIBE Tutoring Sessions & Study Hall
Need a stress-free environment to fuel productivity and creativity?
Grab your study materials, grab a friend, catch a vibe, and meet up with the TRIBE!
Weekly free study halls and reduced-rate tutoring sessions are available for all — middle and high school students around the nation — throughout the school year.
Led by certified educators, students and their families choose which option is best. A dedicated safe space to complete academic work, or 1-on-1 time with a content area certified educator. Reduced rates will be offered to all students enrolled in Title 1 schools.
Throughout tutoring sessions, students will have the opportunity to participate in real-world context-based TRIBEverse workshops including social and emotional learning, holistic integration (meditation, mindful movement), financial literacy, academic strategies, business branding, and college and career prep to name a few.
As students begin their personalized tutoring sessions, they will work with the certified educator to create an Action Plan. This plan is formulated using your classroom teacher's curriculum calendar. Action Plans will become a flexible schedule your student will use to stay on top of their academic expectations and obligations. Action Plans will be revised and reviewed as needed.

Authoring Action
Our Village seeds were sown in the basement of Authoring Action, a teen literary engagement and arts education organization. Encouraged to extend our innovative instructional context-based practices outside of the classroom, TRIBEverse emerged to provide a transformational space of growth and healing for diverse communities. As a collaborative partner, Authoring Action remains an essential thread in the work we do to expand the fabric of our Village.
